The Current Selection supports the work of artists creating in the present moment. Our focus is on contemporary perspectives—voices that reflect the world as it is now.

Inspired by Alfred Stieglitz’s Camera Work, The Current Selection develops books, editions, and curated offerings that highlight select works of current artists.

Our economic model is straightforward: 70–80% of art sales go directly to the artist. This approach supports sustainable careers and reflects our commitment to transparency. Our goal is for 50% of art sales to go to current artists by 2050. 

We work alongside our sister organization, The Current Arts Foundation (TCAF), which expands public programming and cultural access. While The Current Selection builds the publishing and commercial pathways; TCAF advances the educational and community mission. Together, they create a supportive structure for current artists across both cultural and economic landscapes.
